MEETING TIME  Meetings are held on the fourth Sunday of each month.   Coffee and tea are provided free of charge.  Snacks to share are appreciated :)

INTRODUCTIONS & SUPPORT FOR NEW MEMBERS

Welcome message to new members.
The first portion of our meetings is for new attendees to introduce themselves, share their concerns, and ask questions.

UPDATES
1.     Lyme Support Library  - our group's library can give you the chance to read a book and decide if you would like to purchase for your own personal use, or save your money. Are there any books that anyone would like to see in the library? Do you have a book or DVD to donate?  $10 to join the library, one book out at a time, to be returned at next meeting.  Our library books/dvds:

Books can be borrowed for one month.  Please be courteous and return borrowed books on time as others may be waiting to read them.

3.  Introduction of Emma Wilson-Pease, a Mount Allison university student who has offered to assist our group and who will be creating a new media kit for CanLyme.

4.  Bill C-442, National Lyme Disease Strategy.

5.  Facebook page for our group.

6.  With less than one year left to negotiate a 2014 Health Accord, the Council of Canadians is asking you to tell your health care story, and send a powerful message to our elected representatives. Use your video camera or webcam and tell them about a great experience you had with public health care and why we need to protect it. Talk about difficulties you had getting care and why we need to strengthen medicare. Talk about gaps in the current system where we need to expand health care. Then email your video to the Council of Canadians’ YouTube channel.  Visit the Council of Canadians website at
